Protest of Łachman Moszkowicz against Tewel Fiszlowicz, the Łokacze rabbi, and his sons

Łachman Moszkowicz, a Jew from Kowel, protested against Tewel Fiszlowicz, the Łokacze rabbi and former trustee of the Volhyn region, and his sons Gerszon and Wol, who in agreement with the Dominicans from Targowica and in an attempt to recover their debt from the Kowel kahal (based on Tewel’s illegal assignation), attacked him on the road from the Jewish council in Dubno, confiscated his horse, humiliated him, caused his permanent disability, and finally imprisoned him in a monastery prison.
